For neutered dogs with a new diabetes diagnosis (less than 1 month ago). Dogs can be seen by their own veterinarian across Europe  or at our location (Houten, central Netherlands) during the trial.
Clear instructions are provided on how it works; trial is conducted by local veterinarian with the owner.
Free specialist input is provided for 3 months for all participating dogs, as well as, for selected countries only, free insulin and/or free Freestyle Libre sensors.

Have you diagnosed a cat with diabetes, with or without acromegaly?

Then that cat can participate in our clinical trial, conducted in collaboration with Ghent University in Belgium. We are recruiting Dutch patients for this trial.

As part of the trial, the cats will receive the medication Velagliflozin, and we will determine whether the cat shows improved blood sugar levels using a subcutaneous glucose sensor, as well as their ketone levels using a second sensor that measures ketones.

Participation in the trial is entirely voluntary. Cats will be seen twice at our location in Houten, central Netherlands.

Participating owners will receive free medication for three months, free consultations with our specialists, and a free glucose and ketone sensor—we call that a win-win for everyone!
